Some of the best potatoes in the country are grown in the soil of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. Therefore, Fryz is proud to use only locally sourced potatoes for our award winning chips.

You can be assured that we only use the finest British potatoes and that they have only travelled a handful of miles to reach the shop. There is a blackboard in the shop which tells you where the spuds that made our chips came from. This is updated every time we change our source.

As well as being displayed in the shop we also display the information on the map below. The source of the potatoes we are currently using is marked in Green. Click on any of the markers to find out more, e.g., variety.

The furthest source of potatoes we have used is 44.0 miles (by road). The nearest is just 8.2 miles. The average is 22.3 miles.
