October 5th marks the beginning of Seafood Week. Seafood Week is one of the biggest, exciting and most inclusive national events of the year with thousands of seafood businesses and organisations working together to celebrate seafood and the many benefits it offers.

The theme for this year's Seafood Week is 'A celebration of the seafood industry in the UK'. Seafish, who organise the event, will be encouraging people to act on the Food Standards Agency’s recommendation to eat two portions of seafood a week during this years’ week long celebration.
