Fryz has received, and is proudly displaying, its certificate from SeaFish which acknowledges the shop as amongst the top 5 in the eastern England area of the 'Fish & Chip Shop of the Year Competition 2006'.

The winner for the eastern England area was 'Petrou Brothers' in Chatteris who went on to claim regional winner as well, and will now be heading to London in January for the final of the competition. By all accounts, Fryz missed out on becoming area winner by the narrowest of margins!

Fryz management would like to congratulate Mark Petrou and all at 'Petrou Brothers' in Chatteris and wish them lots of luck in London.

Update: On 24th of January 2007 'Petrou Brothers' were crowned 'Fish & Chip Shop of the Year'.
